Aztrum is delighted to be supporting a well-established and progressive architectural and planning consultancy in their search for a Part 2 Architectural Assistant to join their specialist team based in Stockport.

As a Part 2 Architectural Assistant you will have the opportunity to work across a diverse range of projects supporting the design and delivery of schemes from concept through to technical stages. You will work closely with experienced architects and consultants developing your technical knowledge while gaining valuable experience across the conservation commercial education health and housing sectors.

Key Responsibilities for this Part 2 Architectural Assistant role:
  • Assist with the design development and delivery of projects across the UK.
  • Produce high-quality drawings models presentations and technical documentation.
  • Support the preparation of planning applications building regulation submissions and technical packages.
  • Work collaboratively with architects consultants clients and other project stakeholders.
  • Assist with the coordination of design information and ensure drawings are produced accurately and to a high standard.
  • Develop your understanding of UK building regulations technical detailing and construction processes.
  • Attend site visits and assist with project delivery through later stages where required.
  • Contribute to design discussions and develop creative and practical architectural solutions.
Requirements and Essentials for this Part 2 Architectural Assistant role:
  • Part 2 Architectural qualification or equivalent.
  • Previous experience within a UK architectural practice.
  • Experience working on projects through design and/or technical stages.
  • Exposure to conservation commercial education health or housing projects would be advantageous.
  • Strong proficiency in Revit.
  • Good understanding of UK building regulations and technical detailing.
  • Strong design communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a collaborative team.
  • A proactive attitude with a willingness to develop professionally.
