The Role
A newly available opportunity has arisen for a Paraplanner to join the team on a hybrid basis supporting two experienced Financial Advisers. This is a pivotal role within the business you will sit at the heart of the advice process working closely with advisers to translate complex client objectives into clear well-researched and compliant suitability reports and recommendations.

Key Responsibilities
- Prepare high-quality suitability reports and letters of recommendation across pensions investments protection and retirement planning cases
- Conduct detailed research and analysis to support adviser recommendations including platform fund and product comparisons
- Work closely with two Financial Advisers to manage case workflow and ensure timely delivery of client documentation
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant legislation FCA regulations and product developments
- Liaise with providers platforms and back-office systems to obtain valuations illustrations and policy information
- Assist with the preparation of client review documentation and meeting packs
- Ensure all files and records meet internal compliance standards
- Support advisers with ad hoc technical queries and research requests
About You
- Previous experience in a Paraplanning or technical financial services role either fully qualified or working towards qualifications
- Strong working knowledge of financial planning across retirement investment and protection disciplines
- Experience preparing suitability reports and navigating the advice process end-to-end
- Comfortable working with a variety of client profiles including HNWIs and business owners
- Organised detail-focused and able to manage a varied caseload to meet deadlines
- Strong written communication skills clear accurate and client-appropriate
- A proactive team player who is self-motivated and takes ownership of their work
- CII Level 4 Diploma in Financial Planning (or working towards it) is desirable though candidates at varying stages of qualification will be considered
