Are you passionate about transforming complex operational data into meaningful insights As an Operations Reporting Analyst youll play a key role in helping leaders make informed business decisions by analyzing operational performance identifying trends and developing reporting solutions that drive continuous improvement.
In this role youll partner with cross-functional teams to deliver impactful reporting benchmarking and analytical insights that support operational excellence and strategic planning.
- Analyze operational metrics activities and costs to identify trends variances and opportunities for improvement.
- Develop maintain and enhance ERP-based reports and queries that support business operations and decision-making.
- Conduct benchmarking cost and performance analyses to help establish targets and evaluate operational results.
- Perform trend analysis forecasting and scenario modeling to assess potential business impacts and support strategic planning.
- Partner with business stakeholders to understand reporting needs investigate data gaps and deliver actionable insights.
- Present findings and recommendations that improve reporting practices processes and operational performance.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives system enhancements and implementation projects.
- Create training materials and procedural documentation that help users effectively understand and utilize reporting tools.
- Education: Successful completion of Diploma in Accounting Finance or a related field from an accredited post-secondary institution.
- Experience: Minimum of six (6) years experience of recent and related experience of which one year experience involves complex data analytics.
- Strong analytical skills including the ability to organize interpret and present data through reports summaries and procedural documentation.
- Excellent organizational skills initiative and ability to balance priorities and meet deadlines.
- Working knowledge of statistical analysis cost-benefit analysis and related analytical techniques.
- Advanced knowledge of ERP financial systems (e.g. SAP) and reporting tools (including SAP BW) used to support cost accounting as well as other specialized software used within the department.
- Ability to work with limited supervision and direction.
- Strong interpersonal presentation verbal and written communication skills.
