Salary: SCP 16-18 (27300 - 28938) per annum based on 35 hours

Contract: Temporary

Work pattern: Various shift patterns available (including Monday to Friday and shift working)

Location: Glasgow and surrounding areas

At Wheatley we have various opportunities to join our Environmental Van teams delivering services day to day maintaining our neighbourhoods and communities.

About the role

Our Neighbourhood Operatives play a vital role in creating safe clean and welcoming environments for our customers and communities. Working across our neighbourhoods youll take pride in delivering high-quality environmental services maintaining communal areas. Youll also engage with customers and help make a positive difference to where people live.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Maintaining communal areas and neighbourhood environments to a high standard


  • grass cutting;
  • general cleaning of our neighbourhoods;
  • assisting with bulk uplifts and ensuring neighbourhoods remain clean and welcoming
  • stair cleaning.

As a Neighbourhood Operative you will be a key player in creating safe clean and well-maintained environments for our communities. The successful candidate will embody Wheatleys core values and display outstanding customer service in all aspects of their work.
