An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join our growing engineering team at Micronclean. Based primarily at our Louth Lincolnshire site you will play a key role in ensuring the reliability performance and continuous improvement of our production equipment and facilities.

LOCATION: Based at Louth with occasional travel to Skegness

SALARY:43000 - 48000 p.a. (dependent on experience)

JOB TYPE: Full-time

HOURS OF WORK: Monday to Friday weekly rotating shifts - 6:30am - 2:30pm and 2:30pm - 10:30pm

ABOUT THE ROLE:

As a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer you will be responsible for delivering high-quality maintenance fault diagnosis and engineering support across both mechanical and electrical disciplines.

Working within a fast-paced production environment you will help maximise equipment reliability minimise downtime and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives. This is a varied and hands-on role that offers the opportunity to make a real impact within a growing business.

As occasional travel between company sites is required a full UK driving licence is essential.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Carry out planned preventative and reactive maintenance on machinery and facilities
• Diagnose and repair faults across mechanical electrical and control systems
• Accurately record maintenance activities within the Maintenance Management System (MMS)
• Support continuous improvement projects to enhance efficiency and reliability
• Work collaboratively with production and operational teams to minimise downtime
• Ensure all work is carried out safely and in line with company procedures and industry standards
• Assist with the installation and commissioning of new equipment where required

WHAT WERE LOOKING FOR:

Essential:

• Time-served apprenticeship or relevant engineering qualification (NVQ Level 3/4 HNC HND or equivalent)
• Proven experience in a multi-skilled engineering role involving both mechanical and electrical maintenance
• Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills
• Knowledge of PLCs motors pumps pneumatics hydraulics and electrical systems
• A proactive and flexible approach with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Full UK driving licence

Desirable:

• Experience using CMMS or maintenance management systems
• 18th Edition Wiring Regulations qualification
• Mitsubishi PLC knowledge and experience
• IOSH Managing Safely qualification
• Experience with steam generation systems
