Job Summary

Description

This is a role for a multi-skilled foot mobile engineer who has a background in mechanical work.

The work is fast-paced and we welcome ambitious candidates looking to steeply progress their career in maintenance and engineering.

You will be:

  • Reeves first line of service: running a first assessment of the situation: carry out repairs or recommending a specialist contractor on site pressure and temperature readings isolating whether a fault is mechanical controls or electrical replacing tap cartridges valves actuators TRVs small pipework alterations fan and motor swaps.
  • Performing site inspections identifying and reporting the need for major repairs.
  • When required youll be present when contractors attend sites and ensure completion of the works are up to Kitts standards.
  • Performing maintenance and repairs including providing support to the wider operations team (whiteboards fixing TVs on walls etc)
  • Performing light carpentry (e.g. building cabinets)

We are rapidly expanding across London and are onboarding 20 buildings over the next 12 months.



Requirements

About You

  • Proven experience within maintenance or construction.
  • Experience with hardware tools and electrical equipment.
  • Basic understanding of electrical systems
  • Basic maths skills.
  • As an expert problem solver you can think outside the box to come up with solutions.
  • Good communication ability and confidence in front of clients. You will be representing Reeve in a professional manner.
  • Well-organised with good attention to detail.
  • Health and safety is a priority and you can spot problems before they happen.
  • Comfortable working alone and also as part of a team.

Qualifications (required)

  • NVQ Level 2 or City & Guilds Level 2 in plumbing heating and ventilation refrigeration and air conditioning or mechanical engineering services.

Qualifications (preferable)

  • Gas Safe registration
  • F-Gas Category I
  • Legionella / L8 water hygiene
  • 18th Edition (C&G 2382) and City & Guilds 2391 testing and inspection
