Position: Molecular Biology Experts
Type: Contract
Compensation: $70$120/hour
Location: Remote
Duration: 23 weeks
Commitment: 20 hours/week

Role Responsibilities

• Design and review DNA/RNA sequences and constructs including primers plasmids RNAs and repair templates.
• Author challenging domain-grounded tasks and write accurate well-documented solutions as ground truth.
• Evaluate AI model outputs against expert-quality solutions and provide clear written feedback on correctness rigor and reasoning.
• Collaborate with other subject-matter experts to maintain consistency and accuracy in training data.
• Work independently and asynchronously to meet deadlines while improving AI model performance.

Qualifications

Must-Have

• Practicing or recently practicing molecular biologist with hands-on experience designing nucleic-acid sequences.
• Strong peer-reviewed publication record in venues such as Nature bioRxiv Cold Spring Harbor Laboratory Press and eLife.
• PhD strongly preferred in molecular biology genetics biochemistry synthetic biology bioengineering or a related life-science field.
• Strong written communication and ability to justify design choices clearly.
