Job Title: Mobile ADAS Technician

Salary: 40000 - 45000 Bonus Fully Expensed Company Van

Location: Wigan and surrounding area (Mobile Role)

Hours: Monday to Friday 40 hours per week (No Weekends and No call-outs)

Job Type: Full Time Permanent

Our client is a leading provider of ADAS calibration programming and vehicle electronics services to the collision repair sector. Due to continued growth they are looking to recruit a Mobile ADAS Technician to cover the Wigan region within a well-established team.

The Role

Working from a fully equipped company van you will visit Bodyshops Dealerships and Repair Centres to carry out ADAS calibrations vehicle diagnostics coding programming and electronic repairs. Youll play a key role in ensuring vehicles are repaired to manufacturer standards and returned to the road safely.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out static and dynamic ADAS calibrations.
  
• Diagnose faults on camera radar and sensor-based safety systems.
  
• Perform ECU coding vehicle programming and software updates.
  
• Complete fault finding on vehicle electrical and communication systems.
  
• Conduct pre- and post-calibration inspections.
  
• Interpret manufacturer repair methods and technical information.
  
• Maintain accurate job records and documentation.
  
• Deliver high levels of customer service while representing the company professionally.
  
• Adhere to Health and Safety PPE regulations.
  

Requirements

• Experience as an ADAS Technician Diagnostic
  
• Knowledge of vehicle diagnostics coding and programming.
  
• Strong electrical fault-finding skills.
  
• Experience using manufacturer and aftermarket diagnostic equipment.
  
• Full UK Driving Licence.
  
• Ability to work independently in a mobile role.

Ideal Background

This position would suit a qualified/experienced Motor Vehicle Technician Mechanic Auto Electrician or MET Technician from an Accident Repair Bodyshop looking to develop a career in ADAS. However full training will be provided for candidates with strong diagnostic and electrical skills.
