Manufacturing Process Engineer

The Role

Youll play a key role in developing and improving manufacturing processes supporting new product introductions and implementing innovative technologies across production.

Key responsibilities include:

• Developing and improving manufacturing processes efficiency and repeatability.
• Driving process changes automation and Industry 4.0 initiatives.
• Supporting new product introduction (NPI) and engineering projects.
• Designing tooling jigs and fixtures producing technical specifications.
• Validating processes reducing risk and minimising waste.
• Working closely with Production Quality Procurement and customers.
• Managing projects from initial concept through to implementation.

What Were Looking For:

• A degree in Mechanical Engineering a time-served apprenticeship or equivalent experience.
• Strong project engineering and problem-solving skills.
• Experience designing tooling jigs and fixtures.
• The ability to manage engineering changes from concept to completion.
• Knowledge of sheet metal welding fabrication or metal forming would be highly advantageous.
• Pressure vessel industry experience would be beneficial.
