Job Summary
At CFGI Managing Directors serve as key leaders in our organization working closely with C-level executives at FTSE 100 mid-cap and start-up companies. As a Managing Director you will take ownership of client relationships drive engagement success and play a pivotal role in the firms business development and growth strategies.

- Act as a strategic advisor to clients providing expertise in technical accounting transaction support and regulatory reporting.
- Build and manage long-term client relationships and expand CFGIs market presence.
- Drive firm initiatives contribute to thought leadership and mentor high-performing teams.
What you might expect:
- Interact with clients executive team and auditors serving as a subject matter expert leading clients through complex accounting issues and driving conclusions.
- Lead and oversee all aspects of client engagements from scoping to execution ensuring timely and high-quality deliverables.
- Drive client deliverables of financial and regulatory information in accordance with regulatory requirements.
- Drive business development initiatives by identifying new client opportunities maintaining strong industry relationships and actively participating in firm-wide growth strategies.
- Mentor and develop professionals at all levels fostering a culture of integrity collaboration and professional growth.
- Develop and enhance the firms training programs providing guidance on new accounting standards and best practices.
Who you are:
- An undergraduate degree in Accounting ACA ACCA CPA and/or MBA combined with solid accounting experience will be considered in lieu of a degree in accounting.
- 14 years of experience in accounting finance or consulting including tenure at a Big 4 accounting firm.
- Outstanding interpersonal written and oral communication skills with an ability to assimilate easily into teams.
- Strong technical skills and a working knowledge of IFRS UK GAAP and US GAAP.
- Proactive in identifying client needs and effective in building a strong relationship with clients.
- Highly organized and focused and demonstrates the ability to set overall engagement expectations and direction.
- Effective analytical and critical thinking abilities.
- Entrepreneurial nature self-motivated ethical and dependable.
- High energy with commitment to quality client service focusing on ensuring positive resolutions to conflicts.
