Role: Maintenance

Location: Knutsford Parkgate Industrial Estate

Working Hours: Mon-Fri 8:30am till 5pm. 40 hours per week

Were on the lookout for a Maintenance Operative to join our team in Knutsford.

What Youll Be Doing as a Maintenance Operative

  • Ensure company compliance with Health Safety and Environmental (HSE) regulations including LOLER PUWER and the Fire Safety Order (FSO).

  • Develop implement and maintain a preventative maintenance programme across all company sites.

  • Manage and carry out planned and reactive maintenance of company assets.

  • Assist with the coordination and delivery of facilities maintenance activities.

  • Prioritise equipment breakdowns to minimise downtime and production disruption.

  • Manage on-site contractors carrying out maintenance activities and new equipment installations.

  • Assist with the calibration of equipment to ensure compliance and operational accuracy.

No two days are exactly the same and as a Maintenance Operative youll be right at the heart of what we do.

What Youll Bring
Were not expecting you to know everything from day onefull training is provided for every workshop operative. That said it would be great if you:

  • Sound mechanical knowledge.

  • Ability to fault-find and rectify issues with equipment.

  • Excellent attention to detail.

  • Good communication skills.

  • Strong problem-solving abilities.

  • Time-served or qualified engineer.

  • Minimum of 3 years experience in a similar field.

  • Good understanding of Health Safety and Environmental (HSE) requirements.

  • Electro-mechanical background.

  • 35000 to 40000 depending on experiance discretionary annual bonus
