In this roleyoullbe at the centre of the operation supporting the day-to-day coordination of tanker services across the a key rolewithin thelogisticsfunction helping toensurework isallocatedefficiently customer requirements are managed professionally and operational administration is completed accurately and on time.
The position combines administrationcustomer service and operational support making it ideal for someone who enjoys variety and wants to develop a long-term career within a growing and supportive business.
About You
What Youll Be Doing
Youllbe responsible forraising contractsallocatingwork and queries to the correct planners and depots managing invoice and customer queries completing driver and job compliance checks and supporting the wider operational team withaccuratereporting and administration.
A large part of the role will involve speaking with customers over the phone providing updates resolving queries andalways ensuring a professional and positive customer communicationskills and a confident telephone manner are therefore essential.
You will also create andmaintainspreadsheets compile operational reports and liaise with colleagues across multiple departments to ensure the smooth running of daily operations.
What Were Looking for
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
The ability to work to a high level of accuracy
The ability to multi-task and work to deadlines
Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office in particular Excel
Previousexperience and product knowledgein thetransport/haulage/wasteindustry is highlyadvantageous.
