Due to continued growth an established and well-respected demolition and recycling business is looking to recruit an experienced Plant Operator to join its operational team near Retford.

This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled Loading Shovel Operator who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and wants to join a business with a strong reputation long-term stability and a commitment to safety.

The Role

As a Plant Operator you will play a key role in the day-to-day operation of the site working closely with supervisors labourers and fellow operators to ensure materials are handled safely and efficiently.

Key responsibilities include:

• Operating a loading shovel safely and efficiently
• Carrying out daily pre-start and visual equipment inspections
• Working collaboratively with site teams to support operational activities
• Maintaining a clean safe and organised working environment
• Following site procedures and health & safety requirements at all times
• Attending training and development courses as required

About You

To be successful in this role you will have:

• Previous experience operating a Loading Shovel
• Experience within demolition recycling waste aggregates quarrying or a similar heavy industrial environment
• A valid CPCS or NPORS Wheeled Loading Shovel ticket
• A positive attitude and strong work ethic
• The ability to work effectively as part of a team
• Full right to work in the UK
• A driving licence and reliable transport to reach the site

Working Hours

• Monday Thursday: 07:30 18:00
• Friday: 07:30 12:00
