Live In Care Professional

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive personal care including assistance with bathing dressing grooming and mobility.

• Prepare nutritious meals considering dietary requirements and preferences and assist with feeding where necessary.

• Offer companionship and engage in stimulating activities fostering mental and emotional wellbeing.

• Administer or prompt medication as prescribed ensuring adherence to health and safety protocols.

• Undertake light household duties such as laundry tidying and ensuring a safe and clean living environment.

• Accompany clients to appointments social engagements or on outings supporting their continued engagement with the community.

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date care records reporting any changes or concerns to the care management team promptly.

Qualifications :

Requirements

• A minimum of 1 year of professional care experience ideally within a home care or live-in care setting.

• Right to work in the UK and a satisfactory enhanced DBS check.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a compassionate and empathetic approach.

• Demonstrable reliability punctuality and a strong work ethic.

• The ability to adapt to different client needs and home environments.

• A genuine passion for supporting older adults and improving their quality of life.

• (Desirable) A full clean UK driving licence and access to a vehicle.
