Job Summary
Responsibilities
Provide comprehensive personal care including assistance with bathing dressing grooming and mobility.
Prepare nutritious meals considering dietary requirements and preferences and assist with feeding where necessary.
Offer companionship and engage in stimulating activities fostering mental and emotional wellbeing.
Administer or prompt medication as prescribed ensuring adherence to health and safety protocols.
Undertake light household duties such as laundry tidying and ensuring a safe and clean living environment.
Accompany clients to appointments social engagements or on outings supporting their continued engagement with the community.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date care records reporting any changes or concerns to the care management team promptly.
Qualifications :
Requirements
A minimum of 1 year of professional care experience ideally within a home care or live-in care setting.
Right to work in the UK and a satisfactory enhanced DBS check.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a compassionate and empathetic approach.
Demonstrable reliability punctuality and a strong work ethic.
The ability to adapt to different client needs and home environments.
A genuine passion for supporting older adults and improving their quality of life.
(Desirable) A full clean UK driving licence and access to a vehicle.
