Were looking for a skilled and motivated Lifting Engineer to join our high-performing Lifting & TIC division. If youre passionate about lifting equipment thrive on solving problems and want to be part of a business thats growing fastthis could be the opportunity youve been waiting for.

As a Lifting Engineer youll play a key role in keeping our inventory of small shackles and slings material lifts aluminium gantries and everything our customers need for lifting any size of load hire-ready. Youll carry out servicing maintenance and repairsboth in the depot and occasionally on customer sitesensuring our equipment is safe reliable and ready to go when our customers need it.

This is a hands-on high-impact role offering real career progression in a company that invests in its people.

About You

What Youll Be Doing

Servicing and maintaining a wide range of lifting equipment within the GAP inventory
Diagnosing faults and completing repairs efficiently to minimise downtime
Accurately updating service records and ensuring compliance with safety standards
Occasionally attending customer sites to carry out repairs and maintenance
Supporting the depot team to ensure equipment availability and customer satisfaction
What Youll Bring

Were looking for someone with strong technical expertise and a proactive approach including:

Proven experience working in a similar role - candidates out with the lifting industry are welcomed as full training will be provided!
Experience diagnosing and repairing lifting equipment faults would be highly beneficial
LEEA qualified is highly desirable
A keen eye for detail and the ability to stay calm under pressure
A customer-focused mindset and a collaborative team spirit
A full valid driving licence is preferred but not essential
