Lead Machine Learning Engineer
Job Summary
Impacts departmental operations and responsible for planning/execution. The role has some autonomy but is focused on execution of activities within an operating discipline covered by standard functional practices and procedures. Some judgment may be required but this is typically with guidance.
Roles and Responsibilities
Provide technical leadership in technology and design. Collaborate with data scientists to integrate AI/ML models into software solutions.
Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
Design and architect scalable and efficient software systems. Ensure the scalability performance and security of software applications.
Write clean efficient and well-documented code.
Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in AI/ML and software engineering.
Contribute to the development of internal tools and processes to improve operational efficiency.
Required Qualifications
This role requires advanced experience in the Engineering/Technology & R&D Systems Engineering and/or Computer Science/Machine Learning. Knowledge level is comparable to a Bachelors degree from an accredited university or college ( or a high school diploma with relevant experience).
Experience in Grid industry and HVDC systems.
Desired Characteristics
Strong oral and written communication skills. Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems. Ability to document plan market and execute programs. Established project management skills.
Understanding of business cases for Grid and HVDC business areas
