Lateshift Supervisor

Rygor Auto: Kidderminster

Basic: 54000 - 57000 OTE

Monday to Friday 12:30pm to 10:00pm



Your Role & Purpose

We are looking for an experienced and qualified Technician Supervisor to lead our late shift at our Kidderminster site. Your role will be to keep our customers vehicles on the road via quality safe and compliant maintenance and ensuring the rest of the workshop team on shift are working on the right jobs at the right time working with the workshop controller. The right candidate will be able to deliver an exceptional service and to the highest quality whilst inspiring those around them to be their best.

Communication
- It sounds simple but communication is at the heart of this role. You need to love being the first point of contact for the team on shift and take pride in ensuring your customer and the team is up to date.
Resilience - A resilient person is someone who has strong coping skills and can draw on these when life presents challenges.
Accuracy - In order to be reliable for our customers and colleagues supervisors must have a great attention to detail and ensure job cards are correct and well documented.
Motivation - To ensure personal and team success being motivated is key.
Leadership - Your ability to inspire and guide the team around you to achieve and be successful is an essential part of your role.





Day to day you will be:

  • Because you are at least level 3 (NVQ or City and Guilds or IMI Qualification) in LCV and HGV Vehicle Repair and maintenance qualified you will be leading the way in the workshop with quality and compliant repair and maintenance.
  • Via fantastic communication skills via email telephone and face to face you will lead the technicians on your shift ensuring they are motivated and engaged.
  • You will be identifying worn & faulty components in accordance with the DVSA Standards
  • Using all appropriate modules of Keyloop/Kerridge
  • Completing customer documentation while working to agreed time scales
  • Being a brilliant team player
  • Demonstrating a positive attitude and being flexible with workloads
  • Carrying out vehicle maintenance and repairs including wheel alignment and tyre fitting.
