Labcorp is seeking a Laboratory Technician to join our team at Harrogate North Yorkshire.

Work Schedule: Monday - Friday 37hrs

Job Responsibilities:

• Responsibility to maintain lab cleanliness supplies and tidiness (cleaning calibrations reagent prep and disposal waste disposal etc.)

• Maintain laboratory equipment and equipment records within laboratory areas

• Assists in the preparation of consumables for standard assay(s) being performed in base lab area

• Learns to accurately record and data check study and laboratory raw data

• Assists with the preparation of materials and solutions required to perform the assays

• Assists with the archiving of non-study data equipment metrology records

• Assists with performing sample processing procedures associated with Flow Cytometry assays

• Learns to perform basic cell culturing procedures

Minimum Qualifications:

• GCSEs of grades C/4 or above in Maths English and Science

Additional Job Standards:

• All tasks will be performed with minimal supervision on satisfactory completion of training

• Ability to work flexibly including occasional weekends

• Excellent attention to detail
