About the Role - 0 hour - Casual
We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Kitchen Porter to join our busy kitchen team. This is a vital role that helps keep the kitchen running smoothly by maintaining high standards of cleanliness organisation and hygiene. If youre a team player with a strong work ethic and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment wed love to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities
- Wash dishes pots pans utensils and kitchen equipment efficiently.
- Keep the kitchen food preparation areas and storage areas clean and organised.
- Assist chefs with basic food preparation when required.
- Empty bins and ensure waste is disposed of correctly.
- Receive and store deliveries rotating stock where necessary.
- Maintain high standards of food hygiene and health & safety.
- Help ensure all kitchen equipment is cleaned and maintained.
- Support the kitchen team with general duties during busy service periods.
What Were Looking For
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Good teamwork and communication skills.
- Reliable punctual and hardworking.
- Ability to follow health and safety procedures.
- Previous experience is an advantage but not essential as full training will be provided.
