W Edinburgh brings exciting new culinary destinations to the capital of Scotland. Situated on the
10th and 11th floors of the hotel the spaces offer unrivalled panoramic view across the city
making it one of the most beautiful places in Edinburgh to dine.
Our signature restaurant is a partnership with SUSHISAMBA which celebrates the culture and
cuisine of Japan Brazil and Peru. The menus are a mix of new and signature dishes with an
emphasis on bold flavours the finest ingredients and artful presentations.
W Lounge is W Edinburghs social hub for guests and locals alike. Open from 9am until late W
Lounge will showcase the best of Gaelic produce in its food offering complimented with

ABOUT THE ROLE
Joining the team means you will be instrumental to the success of the hotel and the restaurants
operation and beyond. We are looking for someone who is passionate about hospitality eager to
learn and committed to excellence!
As Kitchen Porter key aspects of your role will include:
Operate and maintain cleaning equipment and tools including the dish washing machine
hand wash stations pot-scrubbing station and trash compactor
Wash and disinfect kitchen and store room areas tables tools knives and equipment
Receive deliveries store perishables properly and rotate stock
Ensure clean wares are stored in appropriate areas
Inspect pull and stack cleaned items send soiled items back for re-scrubbing and rewashing
Clean and mop all areas in assigned departments
