About the Role

As a Junior Buyer you will manage a portfolio of suppliers and support the Category Manager to ensure effective supply chain performance. You will take ownership of critical master data maintenance handle purchase requisitions (Preqs) and quotes and execute key transactional activities to keep procurement operations moving smoothly.

As part of your key responsibilities youll:

• Manage and process purchase requisitions (Preqs) in a timely manner to maintain operational efficiency.
• Oversee quote management by obtaining and evaluating competitive supplier quotes.
• Resolve invoice queries promptly to ensure accurate financial processing and strong supplier relationships.
• Address and manage price queries to verify cost accuracy against contracted terms.
• Take ownership of critical master data maintenance to ensure high data integrity across systems.
• Collaborate with the Category Manager to support the overall performance of your supplier portfolio.

About You

Wed love you to have the following skills and experience but please apply if you think youd be able to perform well in this role!

• Good knowledge of SAP MRP processes and procurement procedures to navigate systems and support transactions smoothly.
• Hands-on experience or understanding of managing purchase requisitions (Preqs) and quotes.
• Strong problem-solving abilities to resolve invoice and price queries and verify cost accuracy.
• A collaborative team player with a positive attitude with the ability to perform well under pressure and on your own initiative.
• High attention to detail with the capability to take ownership of critical master data maintenance.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills to collaborate effectively with suppliers and the Category Manager.
