Job Summary
A welcoming school based in Lowestoft is seeking an IT Technician to strengthen its internal technical department and handle a broad range of user-focused infrastructure tasks.
Key Responsibilities
Provide day-to-day troubleshooting for desktop hardware mobile devices and local software packages.
Manage email accounts mailing lists and user access levels in Microsoft 365.
Assist engineers with network cable patching switch management and printer setups.
Participate in scheduled system upgrades data migrations and disaster recovery testing.
Provide remote assistance to field-based staff and desk-side support at the main office.
Keep accurate logs of recurring technical glitches to help prevent future downtime.
About You
At least 2 years working in an IT support or helpdesk role.
Proficient with Microsoft operating systems and modern office suites.
Familiarity with basic network security principles and anti-virus management.
Calm adaptable nature with strong multi-tasking skills.
Capable of managing independent tasks as well as team-driven projects.
