Location: Worcester (Office Based)
Salary: 25000 - 33000 DOE
About the Role
An excellent opportunity has arisen for an Investment Administrator to join a well-established wealth management firm providing high-quality administrative support to Investment Managers and contributing to positive client outcomes. Youll play a key role in the day-to-day monitoring and administration of client portfolios working within a compliance-driven framework and collaborating closely with a supportive experienced team.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide administrative support on complex tasks as directed by the Investment Manager including file notes correspondence and client meeting coordination
- Build and maintain strong client relationships through accurate timely support adapting your approach appropriately when working with vulnerable clients
- Handle account opening and closing processes
- Manage stock transfers into accounts and process payments
- Maintain and update static data within the firms investment platform
- Produce Excel-based reports using platform data
- Place trades on the investment platform based on instructions received from the Investment Manager ensuring accurate execution and booking
- Take and process client orders for non-complex instruments within the Execution Only Service ensuring accurate execution and booking
- Support Investment Managers with preparation for client pitches and meetings
- Assist the wider team with ongoing projects and process improvement initiatives
- Undertake technical and regulatory training as required
- Stay proactively informed on industry and market developments
About You
- CISI Level 3 qualification (or equivalent) or a genuine commitment to achieve this within an agreed timeframe
- Strong proficiency in Word Excel and PowerPoint
- Prior experience with a wealth management/investment platform is advantageous
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and manage priorities effectively
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Strong organisational interpersonal and team-working skills
- Sound understanding of regulatory requirements and client contact boundaries within financial services
- A genuine commitment to acting with integrity care and diligence and to delivering fair positive outcomes for clients (in line with FCA Conduct Rules)
