About the Role
Scott Pallets is looking for an enthusiastic customer-focusedInternal Sales Personto join our busy Internal Sales Team.
As a key customer contact youll manage accounts process orders build strong relationships and support sales growth across the business. Working closely with customers External Sales and internal teams youll help deliver an excellent customer experience from enquiry through to delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Managing customer enquiries via telephone email and CRM systems.
- Processing customer orders accurately and efficiently.
- Building and developing strong customer relationships.
- Following up quotations and identifying sales opportunities.
- Supporting the External Sales Team with pricing product availability and customer information.
- Resolving customer issues delivery queries and complaints professionally.
- Maintaining accurate customer and sales records within CRM systems.
- Monitoring stock availability and coordinating with internal departments.
- Promoting products and services to support sales growth upselling and cross-selling opportunities.
- Contributing towards individual and team sales targets and objectives.

Essential Skills & Experience
- Previous experience in Internal Sales Customer Service or Sales Administration.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
- Strong organisational and time management abilities.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- Experience using CRM order processing or business systems.
- Strong problem-solving skills and customer-focused mindset.
- Ability to multitask and prioritise effectively in a busy environment.
- Good numerical skills and understanding of metric and imperial measurements.
Desirable
- Experience within timber manufacturing construction building materials or hardware sectors.
- Understanding of manufacturing processes.
- Knowledge of pallet products.
- Experience with ERP or inventory management systems.
- Understanding of logistics and delivery scheduling.
