We are looking for a qualified Internal Auditor to join our Internal Audit team. This is an excellent opportunity to support high-quality assurance and advisory reviews provide insightful reporting to senior stakeholders and contribute to the continued improvement of our control environment.

You will play an important role in quarterly Risk & Audit Committee reporting annual audit planning and risk assessment as well as ad hoc reviews and advisory assignments.

What youll be doing

• Preparing and presenting clear insightful quarterly reports for the Risk & Audit Committee
• Supporting annual internal audit planning risk assessments and stakeholder engagement
• Conducting ad hoc assurance and advisory reviews across the business
• Providing practical recommendations to strengthen processes and controls
• Maintaining and updating the Internal Audit Manual in line with emerging standards best practice and departmental objectives
• Responding promptly and consistently to audit risk and control-related queries
• Building effective relationships with stakeholders across the organisation
• Contributing to automation and continuous improvement initiatives within Internal Audit

What youll bring

Essential

• A professional qualification or certification in internal audit IT audit IT security fraud or a related discipline
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to assess complex information and draw clear well-supported conclusions
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with experience producing high-quality reports and presentations
• A structured and organised approach with the ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines
• High levels of integrity objectivity and professional judgement
• The confidence to engage with stakeholders at different levels of the organisation

Desirable

• Experience of or an interest in emerging technologies such as robotic process automation (RPA) and artificial intelligence (AI)
• An understanding of how technology can support the delivery and effectiveness of internal audit
