Location: Birmingham

Salary: 110000 to 180000 (depending on experience and following)

Experience: Senior Associate to Partner (with a strong BD track record)

Our client is investing in the continued growth of its Insolvency and Recoveries team and is keen to speak with both Partners seeking a new platform and Senior Associates ready to step into Partnership.

You will advise on a broad mix of contentious and non-contentious insolvency and recoveries matters working closely with colleagues across litigation banking corporate real estate and regulatory to deliver joined-up solutions for clients facing complex financial challenges.

The role can be shaped around your experience and practice with a clear focus on business development and building a sustainable pipeline.

What Youll Be Doing

• Advising on contentious and non-contentious personal and corporate insolvency matters

• Supporting business recovery and restructuring work including distress and turnaround situations

• Handling insolvency litigation including director disqualification matters where relevant

• Advising on debt recovery enforcement secured lending and security issues

• Supporting work involving winding-up and bankruptcy proceedings

• Advising on restructuring solutions including CVAs and pre-pack administrations where appropriate

• Working closely with colleagues across related practice areas to deliver joined-up advice

• Developing and growing client relationships and generating new work

• Contributing to team leadership mentoring and wider practice development (level dependent)

• Working to agreed financial and performance targets

What Were Looking For

• Senior Associate or Partner level lawyer with insolvency and recoveries experience

• Strong technical expertise and sound commercial judgement

• A genuine interest in business development with a track record of winning work

• A client following is welcomed or a clear and credible plan to build one

• Confident communicator with strong client relationship skills

• Collaborative approach and a desire to contribute to a growing national team
