Appleby Westward are looking for a reliable and motivated Hygiene Operative to join our busy Warehouse team. This is an essential role within the operation helping to maintain a clean safe and well-organised working environment to support our colleagues and operational standards.

The Role:

As a Hygiene Operative your responsibilities will include:

• Carrying out housekeeping duties within the Warehouse safely ensuring all areas are kept clean and tidy at all times

• Collecting cardboard and plastic waste ensuring refuse cages are not overloaded or poorly stacked and baling waste correctly for collection

• Dealing with spillages promptly and safely using appropriate signage where required to minimise risk to colleagues

• Taking responsibility for any workplace trucks or equipment used including battery charging and reporting faults in line with procedures

• Adhering to all Health & Safety requirements at all times

• Part-time Sunday & Monday: 2pm 10pm Tuesday: 5pm 10pm (21 hours per week).

Good timekeeping and a reliable flexible approach to working additional hours and bank holidays
