Working Hours: Monday Friday 8am 5pm (4pm on Fridays)

Your Duties Will Include:
- Manage day-to-day hygiene operations and pest management across the site.
- Lead train and develop the hygiene team including succession planning.
- Ensure compliance with legislation TCFG hygiene standards and customer requirements.
- Develop and implement strategic hygiene plans and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Identify and implement new systems technologies and ways of working to enhance hygiene practices.
- Support audits inspections and pre-audit preparations.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams (Operations Technical Engineering Procurement etc.).
- Control and manage the hygiene department budget.
- Support product process and design from a hygiene perspective.
About You:
- Experience in a Hygiene Manager or similar role within the food industry
- Experience with people management either at a supervisory or management level
- Level 2 & 3 Food Safety & Hygiene
- ESOL Level 2 or equivalent
- HACCP Level 2
- Knowledge of food legislation and food safetyprincipleessentials
Desirable:
- Understanding of microbiology testing procedures
- Knowledge of BRC standards and quality management systems
- Good working knowledge of products processes and cleaning processes in a fast moving and challenging food product/manufacturing environment
