Role Overview
GSK are looking for an HR Business Partner to join the team at GSK HQ in London. Reporting to the HR Change Programme Lead this role is a critical partner in enabling the successful delivery of strategic transformation initiative across the R&D organisation. The HR Business Partner will work closely with senior business and HR leaders/partners to deliver key organisational change initiative across the R&D function. The HR Business Partner will provide strategic people advice support the design delivery and execution of key activities related to the change.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with senior business leaders and HR leaders/partners to successfully deliver the change project that support R&Ds long-term objectives.
- Provide expert guidance on organisational design restructuring workforce planning consultation and change management to ensure effective and compliant delivery of a critical change programme.
- Lead the development and execution of comprehensive people strategies stakeholder engagement approaches and communication plans.
- Act as a trusted advisor to leaders offering insights and guidance on restructuring best practice and change management strategies.
- Develop pragmatic solutions to complex HR queries by interpreting local legislation HR policies and processes specifically in terms of consultation requirements and change governance.
- Utilize digital data and analytics tools to gain insights inform people strategy execution and drive leadership and organisational effectiveness.
- Collaborate with HR Centres of Excellence Employee Relations Talent Reward and People Services teams to deliver integrated people solutions to support the change.
- Partner with business and HR leaders to ensure effective change management strategies are in place minimizing disruption and supporting people through transitions.
- Drive programme governance monitor delivery against milestones and provide clear reporting and insights to support decision making.
Required Skills Qualifications & Experience
- Extensive HR Business Partnering experience including significant experience supporting organisational transformation and business change within the UK.
- Significant experience of planning and delivering large scale organisational change projects.
- Proven track record of leading large scale restructuring organisational design and workforce transformation initiatives.
- Proven ability to influence and challenge senior leaders building credibility and trust to drive strategic people outcomes.
- Strong expertise in organisational change workforce transformation employment legislation and HR governance frameworks.
- Deep understanding of organisational effectiveness change leadership employee consultation and employment legislation.
- Excellent stakeholder management communication and influencing skills including the ability to navigate highly sensitive and complex situations.
- Demonstrated ability to operate effectively in fast-paced ambiguous environments while managing multiple priorities and stakeholders.
- Skilled in programme and project leadership ensuring successful delivery of transformation objectives against agreed outcomes and timelines.
- Strong analytical and digital capability including the use of HR systems and workforce analytics.
- (Preferred) Degree-level qualification and/or relevant professional HR accreditation (e.g. CIPD).
