Location: Wolverhampton West Midlands
Position: History Teacher
Start Date: January 2027
Contract: Full-time long-term
Salary/Hours: MPS/UPS dependent on experience
Wayman Education is seeking an enthusiastic History Teacher to join a secondary school in Wolverhampton from January 2027. The successful candidate will have a passion for History and the ability to engage students with the subject.
The school is committed to delivering a broad and challenging curriculum while supporting students to develop strong academic and personal skills.
Teach History across KS3 and KS4.
Plan and deliver engaging History lessons.
Prepare students for GCSE assessments.
Monitor progress and provide effective feedback.
Contribute to departmental planning and wider school activities.
QTS or recognised teaching qualification.
Strong History subject knowledge.
Experience teaching secondary-aged students.
Excellent classroom management.
Ability to inspire and engage students.
