Wayman Education is recruiting for an experienced Higher Level Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming primary school in Birmingham. The successful candidate will support classroom learning while also taking responsibility for delivering targeted interventions and covering lessons when required.

The Role:

• Support teaching and learning across KS1 and KS2.

• Deliver small-group interventions.

• Provide targeted support to pupils requiring additional assistance.

• Cover classes when required.

• Work closely with teachers to monitor pupil progress.

The Ideal Candidate:

• Previous experience as a Teaching Assistant or HLTA.

• Experience supporting children within a primary setting.

• Strong understanding of classroom management.

• Excellent communication and organisational skills.

• A patient enthusiastic and nurturing approach.
