35000 - 40000 (depending on experience)

Full time: Monday to Friday 9:00am 5:30pm (37.5 hours per week)

The Role

We are seeking a Helpdesk Infrastructure Engineer to join a supportive and forward-thinking IT team. This is an excellent opportunity for an IT professional to expand their technical knowledge while working with a diverse range of systems customers and technologies.

The successful candidate will provide day-to-day technical support helping customers resolve issues and ensuring their IT environments continue to operate effectively. The role will cover a variety of technologies including Microsoft 365 Azure Windows Server networking and cloud-based solutions.

The position will involve delivering support remotely with occasional travel to customer locations to assist with on-site technical requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide IT support by phone email and remote access.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues.
• Support customer computers servers networks and cloud systems.
• Install and configure hardware and software.
• Maintain accurate records of work completed.
• Create and update technical documentation.
• Carry out occasional on-site customer support.

About You:

We are looking for an experienced IT support professional with:

• 3 years experience in an IT support or infrastructure role.
• Strong troubleshooting problem-solving and communication skills.
• A customer-focused approach with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle.

Experience with the following technologies is required:

• Windows Server Active Directory Group Policy DNS DHCP Networking and VPNs.
• Remote Desktop Services Microsoft 365 Azure Intune and Defender.

Experience with firewalls switches servers storage virtualisation and Microsoft certifications (AZ-900/AZ-104) would be advantageous. Knowledge of mobile devices and Mac iOS Android or Linux environments would also be beneficial.
