What Youll Be Leading
Digital Strategy & Transformation
Youll define the vision and roadmap for digital capability across Nuclear UK ensuring digital engineering information management data automation and AI become integrated enablers of project success.
Working closely with senior leaders youll identify opportunities to improve delivery performance drive efficiency and create competitive advantage through technology data and innovation.
Major Programme Delivery
Youll provide strategic leadership and assurance across some of the UKs most significant nuclear projects ensuring robust digital governance BIM excellence and high-quality information management.
Youll help ensure that digital delivery remains consistent scalable and aligned with both client requirements and industry best practice.
Data Automation & AI
One of the most exciting aspects of the role will be defining how emerging technologies can transform the way we work.
Youll lead the development of our Data and AI roadmap identifying practical opportunities to improve productivity reporting knowledge management and decision-making.
From automation and analytics to responsible AI adoption youll help shape how digital innovation is deployed across a complex engineering environment where quality assurance and trust are paramount.
Building a High-Performing Capability
Youll lead and grow a multidisciplinary team spanning:
- Digital Engineering
- BIM
- Information Management
- Data & Analytics
- Automation
- AI-enabled Delivery
Youll establish career pathways mentoring programmes and communities of practice that develop capability attract talent and support long-term growth.
Supporting Business Growth
Digital capability is a key differentiator for Egis and youll play a leading role in helping us win future work.
Youll contribute to bids client presentations and strategic discussions demonstrating how digital engineering data and AI can create value for clients and improve project outcomes.
Youll also develop strong relationships across industry academia technology providers and client organisations to ensure Egis remains at the forefront of innovation.
Qualifications :
Were interested in speaking to experienced leaders who combine strategic thinking with practical delivery experience.
Youll likely bring:
- Significant experience in digital engineering BIM information management or digital transformation within major infrastructure energy defence or nuclear environments.
- A track record of leading high-performing digital teams.
- Strong stakeholder management and client-facing experience.
- Experience developing capability improving ways of working and driving organisational change.
- An interest in the opportunities presented by data automation and AI.
- A commercial mindset with an ability to translate digital solutions into business and client value
Technical Knowledge
Experience across several of the following areas would be advantageous:
- BIM and Digital Engineering
- Information Management
- ISO 19650
- Common Data Environments (CDE)
- Tekla Structures
- Navisworks
- Power BI
- Data visualisation and reporting
- Digital automation
- AI-enabled productivity tools and governance
What Success Looks Like
In this role youll help:
- Build a Digital Engineering Data & AI Centre of Excellence for Nuclear UK.
- Strengthen delivery across Hinkley Point C and Sizewell C.
- Create scalable digital delivery methods for future programmes.
- Accelerate the adoption of automation and AI in a responsible and controlled manner.
- Improve productivity quality and collaboration across projects.
- Establish Egis as a recognised leader in digital engineering within the UK nuclear industry.
