We are seeking a Fresh Electrical Engineer with a willingness to obtain ECS Card. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing developing and maintaining electrical systems ensuring compliance with safety standards and project specifications. Responsibilities
- Install test and maintain electrical systems and equipment
- Ensure compliance with BS 7671 wiring regulations
- Diagnose faults and perform repairs efficiently
- Work on heating meter installations and electrical connections
- Install and configure meter gateways / smart metering systems
- Add and connect power sources for new and existing installations
- Carry out Distribution Board (DB) preparation wiring and upgrades
- Read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
- Conduct inspections and complete certification
Qualifications
- Masters/Bachelors in electrical engineering.
- Proven experience working with electrical systems in industrial or construction environments.
- Proficient in the use of hand tools and power tools related to electrical work.
- Experience with heating meters meter gateways and smart systems
- Strong knowledge of DB installation and power distribution systems
- Knowledge of UK electrical regulations and H&S standards
- Strong understanding of electrical codes safety standards and best practices.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings schematics and specifications.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
