Role description:

Our two-year Graduate GROW Programme supports your transition from student to professional sitting along client work and real projects from day one. Each graduates journey is unique shaped by their chosen specialism and the variety of projects they contribute to. You will build your technical expertise by contributing to meaningful client engagements and project work whilst business acumen and professional skills will be developed through centrally delivered graduate cohort training. Although there are no formal rotations graduates are encouraged and supported by their managers to proactively seek opportunities to broaden their experience and support their development.

As a specialist and science graduate joining GROW you will specialise from day one in your chosen discipline. Working in teams of consultants youll be responsible for your own deliverables liaising with clients and given every opportunity to build your skillsets and technical expertise. Youll work on a range of environmental and planning projects which may include major infrastructure urban regeneration and community focussed projects that will expose you to a variety of challenges and technical specialists.

Role accountabilities:

Nuclear Safety - Nuclear has an increasing profile in supporting Net Carbon Zero targets both in the UK and internationally and as such is seeing vast investments from public and private companies. The UK skills base needs to expand to provide high quality professionals to support this vital mission. Arcadis has a strong presence in the sector and works across cutting edge clients driving the nuclear agenda from Nuclear Fusion to conventional Fission in current and future reactors. Importantly our reach is not just in the UK but also international with our support being required in Czech Republic Finland Belgium Japan Canada and more. Its an exciting time to join a rapidly growing sector.

This role can be based at one of the following Arcadis offices or client sites: Warrington Cumbria London Manchester Bristol or Edinburgh

Qualifications & Experience:

  • You will be graduating in 2027 or have recently graduated in 2026 with at least a 2:2 in a relevant masters or bachelors degree
  • You will demonstrate typical Arcadian skills including Resilience Creativity Analytical Thinking and being a Team Player
  • You will have excellent communication skills and the ability to use your technical knowledge to influence and consult stakeholders.
  • Willing to travel and stay away from homewhen required (where possible we embrace virtual working)
  • Comfortable with Site based working when required for projects
