Role description:
Our two-year Graduate GROW Programme supports your transition from student to professional sitting along client work and real projects from day one. Each graduates journey is unique shaped by their chosen specialism and the variety of projects they contribute to. You will build your technical expertise by contributing to meaningful client engagements and project work whilst business acumen and professional skills will be developed through centrally delivered graduate cohort training. Although there are no formal rotations graduates are encouraged and supported by their managers to proactively seek opportunities to broaden their experience and support their development.
As a consultant joining GROW youll be working within a diverse team of consultants cultivating a deep understanding of our sectors building long-term relationships with clients and colleagues and finding ways to improve ways in which we work. Youll be responsible for your own deliverables liaising with clients and given every opportunity to build your skillsets.
Role accountabilities:
As a Graduate Economic Advisory Consultant in our Local Government Economic Advisory team you will support our clients by helping them make their placemaking ambitions a reality. We do this by developing place-based economic strategies programme-level delivery plans business cases investment propositions and other services to shape our clients decision-making and unlock investments.
You will play a key role in designing and using our place analytics tools and economic impact assessment tools as well as making use of a wide range of data sources to undertake research and analysis to produce high-quality reports. You will work with colleagues across a broad range of disciplines to bring valuable insight to our clients. This is an exciting opportunity to join and shape a growing Economic Advisory service within a market-leading Local Government consultancy team and help to deliver transformational regeneration projects for clients across the UK.
- Accepted Degrees: BSc and MSc in a Social Science Economics Data or Business degree background or similar.
Qualifications & Experience:
- You will be graduating in 2027 or have recently graduated in 2026 with at least a 2:2 in a relevant masters or bachelors degree
- You will demonstrate typical Arcadian skills including Resilience Creativity Analytical Thinking and being a Team Player
- You will have excellent communication skills and the ability to use your technical knowledge to influence and consult stakeholders.
- Willing to travel and stay away from homewhen required (where possible we embrace virtual working)
