You will teach German across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 developing students confidence in speaking listening reading and writing.

At KS3 you will establish strong foundations in vocabulary grammar and pronunciation. As students progress towards GCSE you will help them develop more sophisticated language skills and prepare them for the demands of their examinations.

The successful candidate will use a varied approach to teaching including conversation role play listening exercises written tasks and authentic German-language resources. Cultural understanding should also form part of the curriculum helping students appreciate the wider context of the language.

You will monitor progress carefully and adapt your teaching to provide appropriate support and challenge.

German Teacher - Experience and Qualifications

• German Degree

• QTS or recognised teaching qualification

• Experience teaching German at secondary level

• Ability to develop students confidence in speaking

• Effective classroom management

The salary for this German Teacher position will be paid to scale on MPS/UPS depending on experience and qualifications.
