Lanes Group is the UKs largest independent drainage and wastewater solutions provider. Due to continued growth within our Highways and Data Services division we are seeking a highly motivated GDMS CCTV Processor to join our expanding centralised CCTV team.
This is an exciting opportunity for an individual with a keen eye for detail strong technical capability and a passion for data quality to play a key role in supporting the delivery of National Highways and local authority drainage asset management programmes.
The role is based around the processing validation management and reporting of CCTV and geotechnical drainage data within the UK National Highways GDMS framework.
About the Role:
As a GDMS CCTV Processor you will be responsible for ensuring drainage survey data is accurately validated processed and transferred into the Geotechnical Data Management System (GDMS). Working closely with survey crews processors engineers and project managers you will ensure all deliverables meet both client specifications and national standards.
You will play a crucial role in maintaining data integrity supporting quality assurance processes and helping to drive continuous improvements in our data collection and reporting systems.
Main Responsibilities but not limited to:
Manage the intake validation and processing of drainage CCTV and Geotechnical survey data
Ensure the accurate and timely transfer of data into GDMS platforms
Carry out detailed quality checks on incoming survey data
Track survey progress and ensure all required information is collected and complete
Produce comprehensive reports data summaries and client deliverables
Verify data collected in the field aligns with drawings plans and project requirements.
Ensure GIS CAD and CCTV outputs are accurate and consistent
Quality Assurance & Compliance
Maintain robust QA/QC procedures across all data deliverables
Ensure compliance with National Highways standards including: CS551 & CD535 GDMS requirements
Identify and escalate discrepancies anomalies or missing information
Support continuous improvement of data quality processes
Act as a key link between field survey and processing teams
Work closely with stakeholders to ensure client requirements are fully met
Contribute towards training and mentoring where appropriate
Requirements for the role:
Strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy
Excellent IT skills including Microsoft Office applications
Experience of working with technical datasets and reporting systems
Ability to read and interpret drainage drawings plans and schematics
Excellent communication and organisational skills
Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities
A proactive approach to problem solving and continuous improvement
