Job Summary
We are looking for a reliable and professional Gatekeeper / Traffic Marshall to join our team. You will play a key role in maintaining site security managing vehicle movements and ensuring safe access to and from the construction site. The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills a strong understanding of health and safety and the confidence to manage site access and traffic safely.
Duties
- Maintain site security at the gate and prevent unauthorised access.
- Record deliveries against the project delivery schedule.
- Refuse deliveries that are not scheduled.
- Ensure delivery vehicles comply with the projects logistics management plan.
- Assist the project team by accurately recording environmental and delivery information.
- Safely manage vehicle movements on and off site using approved traffic management procedures.
- Assist drivers and supply chain partners with site access and manoeuvring where required.
- Maintain a clean and professional site entrance.
- Act as the public face of the project remaining polite professional and approachable at all times.
- Demonstrate a good understanding of health and safety procedures.
- Challenge unsafe behaviour where appropriate and report any issues to the project team.
