We have a fantastic opportunity foraForensic Accounting SupervisorinLondon.

Forensic Advisory Services (FAS) is a specialist division within Sedgwick focused on the precise quantification of business interruption and financial losses. We work closely with global insurers reinsurers and captives to resolve complex insurance claims and arefrequentlyengaged by the legal profession to provide expert analysis in contentious matters and disputes.

As a supervisor-level Forensic Accountant you will play a pivotal role in driving the success and growth of FAS. Collaborating with Directors and Partners you will undertake detailed forensic analysis across a broad range of financial losses ensuring accuracy and integrity in every claim.

You will oversee technical quality and outputs from junior colleaguesmaintainingdeadlines and team efficiency. Using yourexpertise you will delegate work aligned to individual capability ensuring a balanced mix of challenging and rewarding assignments that foster development and engagement.

Beyond analysis you will attend client meetings contribute to business development and support revenue growth through strategic marketing initiatives. You will also review and refine reports for senior stakeholders guaranteeing clarity and evidential strength.

The skills you will have when you apply:

  • Professional Qualification Possession of a recognised accountancy credential (CIMA ACCA or ACA)evidencingtechnicalproficiencyand regulatory compliance.

  • Analytical Expertise Capacity to interrogate multifaceted claims construct defensiblefinancial lossmodels and articulate rationale with precision and authority.

  • Forensic Leadership Demonstratedexpertisein forensic accounting and business interruption adjustment serving as a credible market representative for FAS.

  • Sector Specialisation Power and energy experience or specialisation highly preferred alongside commercial discernment linguistic versatility (foreign languagesadvantageous) and adaptability to dynamic working arrangements including travel contingent on caseload exigencies.

  • Regulatory Awareness Comprehensive understanding of FCA frameworks confidentiality imperatives and data protection obligations integral to operational integrity.

  • Commercial and Linguistic Adaptability Commercial discernment linguistic versatility (foreign languagesadvantageous) and adaptability to dynamic working arrangements including travel contingent on caseload exigencies.
