Due to continued growth they are looking to strengthen their Product Development team with the appointment of a driven and passionate Food Technologist.

Working within a collaborative NPD team youll support the development of new and existing products from concept through to successful launch. This role offers hands-on involvement across customer projects factory trials product benchmarking and innovation initiatives providing an excellent platform for career progression.

Whether youre a recent Food Science graduate with industry placement experience or already working in an NPD Technical or Process role this position offers the chance to develop your skills within a successful and growing business.

• Support the development of new products from concept through to commercial launch.
• Assist in managing customer briefs and development projects.
• Prepare samples for customer presentations and internal reviews.
• Conduct market research competitor benchmarking and trend analysis.
• Organise and support factory trials and production scale-ups.
• Maintain accurate product specifications and development documentation.
• Work closely with Technical Production Procurement and Commercial teams.
• Monitor emerging food trends and identify innovation opportunities.
• Support customer meetings and product presentations.
• Assist with continuous improvement and innovation projects.

Were looking for an enthusiastic organised and creative individual with a genuine passion for food and product development.

• Degree in Food Science Food Technology Nutrition or a related discipline.
• Industry placement year within food manufacturing or 1-3 years experience in an NPD Product Development Process or Technical role.
• Strong interest in food innovation and consumer trends.
• Excellent organisational and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and work effectively to deadlines.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Proactive and hands-on approach to problem-solving.
• Full UK driving licence preferred.
