Food Runner

We are seeking an exceptional Food Runner to join the pre-opening team of Delano London. Working closely with the restaurant and Culinary teams youll play a crucial role in the rhythm of service ensuring every dish reaches the right guest quickly accurately and beautifully.

What youll do...

• Deliver food from the kitchen to the correct table and guest promptly confidently and with accurate dish identification.
• Learn the menu key ingredients and allergens so you can announce dishes clearly and answer basic guest questions.
• Coordinate closely with the pass waiters and managers to maintain strong pacing and communication throughout service.
• Check plates for presentation and accuracy before leaving the pass and immediately flag any concerns.
• Support table maintenance clearing resetting water service and other floor tasks as required.
• Keep service stations trays and equipment clean organised and fully stocked.
• Assist with pre-service mise en place and end-of-service breakdown and cleaning.
• Pay close attention to allergies dietary requirements VIPs and table numbers and follow all communication procedures.
• Support Room Service Private Dining and other Food & Beverage areas when required.
• Follow food safety Health & Safety and company standards at all times.

Qualifications :

• You are energetic attentive and comfortable working in a fast-paced restaurant environment.
• Previous experience as a runner or in hospitality is useful but attitude reliability and willingness to learn are equally important.
• You communicate clearly and enjoy working as part of a close team.
• You have strong attention to detail and can learn table numbers dishes and service sequences quickly.
• You remain calm and positive under pressure and take pride in doing the small things well.
• You are flexible to work breakfast evenings weekends and key hospitality moments.
