Location: Lancashire
Salary: Up to 45000 per annul depending on experience

The Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for installing maintaining testing and fault-finding on fire alarm systems across a range of sites. This position requires strong technical knowledge a thorough understanding of UK fire-safety standards and experience working with conventional addressable and wireless systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Install and commission fire alarm systems.
• Complete planned and reactive maintenance.
• Diagnose faults and carry out effective repairs.
• Test conventional addressable and wireless fire alarm systems.
• Complete system modifications and upgrades.
• Ensure all work complies with BS 5839 and current fire-safety legislation.
• Produce accurate service reports test records and certification.
• Identify system defects compliance issues and recommended remedial work.
• Communicate professionally with customers and site representatives.
• Maintain the company vehicle tools and equipment provided.

Essential Requirements

Applicants must have:

• A minimum of five years experience installing and maintaining fire alarm systems.
• Strong knowledge of UK fire alarm standards and regulations including BS 5839.
• Good knowledge of the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005.
• Experience working with conventional addressable and wireless fire alarm systems.
• Relevant qualifications such as FIA certifications or a recognized equivalent.
• Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills.
• A professional reliable and safety-conscious approach.

Salary and Benefits

• Salary of up to 45000 depending on experience.
