Financial Planning & Analysis Analyst
Job Summary
Key areas of responsibility vary across countries but include:
- Partner and support the Regional IT Teams Procurement Regional Operations Directors and Regional Finance teams in all aspects of International IT Finance.
- Lead and coordinate the quarterly Outlook and annual operating planning processes for the IT Function and Software P&Ls including consideration for Growth Inflation and Forex implications.
- Identify and communicate risks and opportunities to Senior Management.
- Complete monthly analysis of actual operating costs and provide explanation of variances to Outlook/Plan/Prior Year.
- Own end-to-end IT capital expenditure (CapEx) planning governance and tracking across regions aligning investment roadmaps with strategy and approved funding envelopes.
- Develop and present a monthly reporting pack to senior management comprising of updates from each of the regions.
- Be the first point of contact for IT requests for the International Operating Group.
- Support the wider business in understanding Software spend engaging with the regions and corporate.
- Support the month end close process performing reconciliations ensuring accuracy of financial transactions maintain and adjust for accruals prepayments and fixed assets. Working alongside the GBS teams.
- Other adhoc tasks as and when they are required.
- Develop and work towards transferring any manual processes and transactional activities to GBS.
- Develop and improve consolidated reporting.
Qualifications :
- Chartered Accountancy Qualification (ACA ACMA ACCA CPA or similar) preferable and/or 5 of relevant financial analyst experience.
- Strong Business Partnering skills comfortable presenting to senior management.
- Strong analytical & problem-solving skills essential.
- Must be pro-active and demonstrate ability to see things through to the end.
- Ability to manage details.
- Strong English written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to prioritise and juggle multiple duties in a fast-paced environment with proven time management capabilities.
- Works independently as well as part of a team; willingness to work with multiple different colleagues on a variety of initiatives.
- Ensure tasks are completed timely and accurately
- Receptive to change even if it is last minute.
