About the role
Brown&Co is seeking an experienced and commercially minded Finance & Partnership Director to lead the Firms financial strategy oversee all financial operations and provide governance and administrative support to the Partnership. This is a senior leadership role sitting on the Management Board and working closely with the Managing Partner and Divisional Heads.
You will lead the Finance Team deliver high quality financial insight ensure strong financial controls and support long term planning modelling and decision making across the Firm. The role also carries responsibility for LLP governance Partner administration and the smooth running of Partnership meetings.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead Brown&Cos financial strategy long term planning and financial modelling
- Provide commercial insight and strategic advice to the Managing Partner and Partnership
- Oversee financial management reporting controls cashflow and liquidity
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards tax regulations and statutory requirements
- Lead budgeting forecasting and multi year financial planning
- Manage external audit banking relationships and treasury
- Support Partner drawings capital accounts profit allocations and governance processes
- Produce clear concise Board and Partnership papers
- Maintain LLP governance documents policies and compliance returns
- Coordinate Partnership meetings agendas papers voting and confidential matters
- Lead develop and manage the Finance Team
Requirements
- ACA/ACCA qualified
- Significant senior finance leadership experience (FD Head of Finance or equivalent)
- Strong technical accounting knowledge and financial modelling capability
- Strategic thinker with excellent commercial judgement
- High integrity discretion and organisational awareness
- Strong communicator able to influence senior stakeholders
- Experienced leader with a proactive solutions focused approach

Core working hours are Monday Friday 9.00am 17.30pm.
This is a permanent full-time position based on 37.5 hours (Monday Friday). We also operate a Smart Working policy enabling our employees to enjoy a work/life balance.
