Talentmark are recruiting for a Finance Analyst to join a company in the pharmaceutical industry on a contract basis for 12 months. This role is hybrid based in Basingstoke (3 days onsite). There is potential for extension.

Finance Analyst Role:
- Support the yearly business plan and the regular forecasts.
- Look after forecast models and track how accurate they are.
- Prepare month-end reports and comments in line with accounting policies.
- Work with budget owners to explain spend variances and forecast accuracy.
- Work with teams such as Marketing Supply Chain and HR. Give them clear financial advice.
- Use Claude and tools like Power Query to speed up analysis and automate repetitive tasks.
- Degree in Finance Accounting Business or a related subject.
- Previous experience in FP&A finance accounting or a similar business role.
- Strong analytical skills. You can turn financial data into useful insights.
- Good Excel and PowerPoint skills. Power Query Power BI VBA or Python is a plus.
- Able to explain finance clearly to non-finance colleagues. Experience with generative AI tools or SAP/SAC is a plus.
