Job Summary

Female Support Worker (Mental Health)

Location: Sherwood Nottingham
Salary: 13.20 per hour
Hours: Full Time 36 hours per week. Flexibility is essential as shifts include a mixture of early mornings evenings weekends and Bank Holidays.

About the Role

FitzRoy is a leading not-for-profit provider of person-centred support for people with learning disabilities autism mental health needs and other complex support requirements.

Were looking for an experienced and compassionate Female Support Worker to join our dedicated team in Sherwood Nottingham. This is a rewarding opportunity to support adults with a range of needs helping them develop independence build confidence improve their wellbeing and achieve positive outcomes.

Youll play a key role in supporting people to live fulfilling lives access opportunities within their community develop daily living skills and work towards their individual goals within a rehabilitation-focused environment.

What Youll Be Doing

  • Providing high-quality person-centred support tailored to individual needs
  • Supporting with personal care medication and daily living tasks where required
  • Promoting positive mental health emotional wellbeing and independence
  • Encouraging participation in activities hobbies and community opportunities
  • Building positive relationships and supporting individuals to achieve their goals
  • Working as part of a dedicated team to provide safe compassionate and effective support

About You

Were looking for caring resilient and motivated individuals who are passionate about making a difference.

To be successful in this role you will have:

  • A minimum of 1 years experience supporting people with mental health needs
  • Flexibility to work early morning evening and weekend shifts
  • A positive person-centred approach to support
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • The ability to remain calm and professional in challenging situations
  • A genuine commitment to helping people achieve positive outcomes

Experience supporting people with learning disabilities autism complex needs or behaviours of concern would be advantageous.
