The Role

At Soho House theF&B Managerwill hold a central leadership role overseeing all aspects of the daily operation to ensure a consistently exceptional experience for members guests and staff. With a strong focus on service delivery team management operational excellence and upholding the Clubs brand values the Club Manager acts as the on-site lead across departmentshospitality facilities member services and events.

As a visible and approachable leader you will inspire your team to uphold the Clubs culture of discretion sophistication and attentiveness while maintaining a profitable safe and well-organised environment.

Key duties

• Ensure that hourly employees are trained on company core values job roles responsibilities and technical and service aspects of the job
• Lead engaging training sessions on Soho House food and drink programs through storytelling demos and initiatives like Cook House House Tonic and Club School.
• Collaborate across departments to ensure every guest interaction is seamless aligned with brand expectations and delivered with consistency.
• Support recruitment efforts by identifying talent needs participating in interviews and evaluating candidates alongside People & Development.
• Oversee onboarding and development of new team members ensuring the floor team is confident polished and guest-focused.
• Be visible on the floor and engaging with the members gaining feedback and noting any comments through the reporting channels and directly to the kitchen and front of house team
• Ensuring that members and guests have a great experience and resolving any issues before they depart
• Contact person for all staff for any requests and problems and being responsible and pro-active in problem solving
• To ensure that the club team is appropriately groomed and wearing the correct uniform in accordance with site and company standards
• Ensure the menus are updated monthly and are correct at time of printing adhere to GMs deadlines for menu printing
• Coordinate tasks and work with other departments to ensure that the department runs efficiently

What we are looking for...

• Minimum of 2 years experience in similar capacity
• Thrive in fast-paced high-volume environments and maintain calm through quickly and effectively problem solving under pressure
• Must be hospitable approachable passionate about customer service and respectful towards colleagues and guests
• Must be able to demonstrate competency as outlined in the training schedule and Club School
• Must be able to work flexible shifts and schedules including weekends and holidays as needed
• Ability to take direction work in a team environment and autonomously
