About the School:

An established school in Oxford is looking to appoint an experienced Facilities Manager to oversee the effective operation and maintenance of its premises.

The role will involve managing contractors maintenance requirements health and safety procedures site services and general facilities operations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the day-to-day management of school facilities.

  • Coordinate planned and reactive maintenance.

  • Manage contractors and external service providers.

  • Conduct regular inspections of buildings and grounds.

  • Monitor health and safety and compliance requirements.

  • Maintain facilities maintenance and contractor records.

  • Monitor cleaning and general site presentation.

  • Coordinate repairs and follow up outstanding works.

  • Assist with emergency planning and site procedures.

  • Support the preparation of facilities for school events.

Requirements:
  • Previous facilities estates premises or property management experience.

  • Strong organisational and project coordination skills.

  • Good knowledge of health and safety procedures.
