ROLE OVERVIEW

• Job Title: Facilities Assistant

• Hours: 35 hour per week Monday to Friday

Looking for a role where no two days are the same As a Facilities Assistant youll play a key part in keeping our laboratories and facilities running smoothly safely and efficiently. From supporting maintenance activities and managing stock to helping ensure compliance standards are met youll be at the heart of our operations and have the opportunity to develop a wide range of practical and technical skills.

What youll be doing:

• Managing stock materials and inventory to support day-to-day operations
• Supporting facility and laboratory maintenance housekeeping and routine inspections
• Assisting with equipment maintenance calibration activities and contractor visits
• Helping maintain GMP/GLP standards through accurate documentation and compliance activities
• Contributing to a safe organised and well-maintained working environment
• Supporting continuous improvement initiatives across the site

• Enjoys a practical hands-on role
• Is organised reliable and has a great eye for detail
• Works well both independently and as part of a team
• Is keen to learn new skills and build a long-term career

Ideal backgrounds could include: Facilities Assistant Maintenance Assistant Warehouse Operative Stores Controller Laboratory Assistant Production Operative Caretaker Building Services Assistant or candidates with electrical plumbing joinery or general maintenance experience.
